Welcome to Hergett Garage, a car workshop specialized in the repair and restoration of Oldtimers and Youngtimers. Our doors are open to all types of vehicles regardless of their brand or production year. Story.

My passion for cars and technique come from my childhood days, it may even run through my veins. As early as two years old, I would dismantle my toy cars only to rebuild them back up using my dad’s tools, only so that I could understand how the parts worked together to form an automotive vehicle.

I come from a family that has worked with vehicles for several generations, and whose passion is, quite simply, cars. One could go as far as to say that it has been clear since the beginning that this would be the road I would follow. When I met Axel Malchow in the summer of 2019, I did not know that we would forge a special friendship that would lead to my having the privilege of continuing his legacy. Today, with over 15 years of experience, I am proud to be able to open the doors of my workshop, where with passion and dedication, we will work on your vehicle.

Concept.

Our concept is quite clear: “we do it all for you.” Whatever we cannot do ourselves, we will subcontract – for example, paint jobs, upholstery or woodwork. However, and in any case, we are your direct contact and we guarantee not only the quality but also the timely delivery of your finished vehicle.

ABOUT US

Our company is located in the industrial zone in Neumünster, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern German. The workshop has been open since the 1970s, under the leadership of the well-known Axel Malchow. During the past decades, we have worked with cars from all brands, but we have specialized in classical automobiles made in Italy, England, Sweden and the USA. Today, over 40 years of continuous work, we have joined our expertise and our passion for cars in order to be able to welcome you to Hergett Garage.

The team is made up of four people, all talented mechanics with vast years of experience and expertise, who look forward to meeting you, to fulfilling your dreams and exceeding your expectations in resolving even the most complex tasks. You can rest assured that we will go above and beyond what needs to be done.
